Haystack Rock at Cape Kiwanda covered in low-lying fog. The fog and clouds shrouds the sun during peak summer. Though, with filtered light, the water has a golden shimmer. The Cape has a towering dune, which on a clear day, offer spectacular views of the Haystack, the beach and the ocean. The more known of this classic basalt sea stack, the Haystack Rock, is located at Canon Beach on the north Oregon coast.
I am Portland, Oregon based photographer. I am fascinated by many genres, but I particularly love travel and abstract photography. I immensely enjoy the process of taking images. It gives me an opportunity to slow down, immerse myself into the scene. I love that feeling of complete absorption, when you get into a flow, a zenlike, meditative state. I hope that my images convey this same sense of immersion and allow the viewer to feel similar emotions.
