A surreal scene on the Oregon coast. The sun was trying to break through thick clouds. The fog and mist were shrouding the haystack on the Cape Kiwanda. A musician was composing and playing a guitar, while her son was surf boarding on the beach. It takes only seconds for a fleeting moment to unfold, and then it is gone.

I am Portland, Oregon based photographer. I am fascinated by many genres, but I particularly love travel and abstract photography. I immensely enjoy the process of taking images. It gives me an opportunity to slow down, immerse myself into the scene. I love that feeling of complete absorption, when you get into a flow, a zenlike, meditative state. I hope that my images convey this same sense of immersion and allow the viewer to feel similar emotions.
