Omoide Yokocho lies outside the west gate of Shinjuku station. It is also known as Piss Alley or Memory Lane, epitomized by narrow streets lined with small bars and eateries.

I am Portland, Oregon based photographer. I am fascinated by many genres, but I particularly love travel and abstract photography. I immensely enjoy the process of taking images. It gives me an opportunity to slow down, immerse myself into the scene. I love that feeling of complete absorption, when you get into a flow, a zenlike, meditative state. I hope that my images convey this same sense of immersion and allow the viewer to feel similar emotions.
