Description
Proposal Rock on Neskowin Beach. The name for the seastack is because many romantics come here to pop the most important question. The sea stack is shaped like a top hat with green stalks. At low tide, the entombed sitka spruce stumps of the ghost forest, are also visible. Geologists theorize that the forest existed around 2000 years ago was felled during the major earthquake that hit the Cascadia subduction zone in 1700.
