The rice terraces of Bali. The Tegalalang rice terraces are located north of Ubud, Bali's culture region. Local rice farmers work in the beautiful, cascading green fields. The terraces have become a tourist attraction and you can hike through the fields and get amazing views along the way.
I am Portland, Oregon based photographer. I am fascinated by many genres, but I particularly love travel and abstract photography. I immensely enjoy the process of taking images. It gives me an opportunity to slow down, immerse myself into the scene. I love that feeling of complete absorption, when you get into a flow, a zenlike, meditative state. I hope that my images convey this same sense of immersion and allow the viewer to feel similar emotions.
