Temple of Uluwatu, Bali. Known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, this hindu temple is located on south-west tip of Bali's Bukit peninsula. Ulu in balinese means Lands End and watu means rock, hence it is translated as Rock on Lands End. The temple's other name is Pura Segara or a Sea Temple. It sits on the edge of 230 ft cliff projecting into the sea. This temple was expanded during the 11th century. The temple is also home to macaque monkeys. The temple also performs Kecak dance based on hindu epic Ramayan, daily in the evening.
